Instructor certifications

Teach others to dive

If you like people and have a passion for scuba diving, become an instructor. Teaching scuba diving allows you to share your love of the aquatic world with others while doing what you enjoy – being in, around and under water. There are several instructor certifications available:

Assistant Instructor
Open Water Scuba Instructor
Specialty Instructor

Master Scuba Diver Trainer
IDC Staff Instructor
Master Instructor

Prerequisites

You must be at least 18 years old
You must have at least 6 months diving experience
You must be a certified Divemaster
(minimum - higher instructor ratings require additional professional certifications)
You must have first aid training (which we can provide)
You must have logged a minimum of 100 dives
(higher instructor ratings require additional dives)
