Learn to scuba dive

If you’ve always wanted to learn how to scuba dive, discover new adventures or simply see the wondrous world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. The Open Water course is the first scuba qualification which gives you all the basic knowledge and concepts you need in order to scuba dive. Once qualified, you will be able to dive anywhere in the world!

What's involved

This course consists of three phases. Knowledge development - to understand basic principles of scuba diving, confined water dives - completed in the swimming pool to learn basic scuba skills, and finally open water dives - to review your skills and explore! The open water dives can be completed on one of our UK dive trips or abroad.

Prerequisites

You must be at least 10 years old
No previous diving experience is necessary, although we recommend you do a Try Dive first to see if you're comfortable in the water
