Building upon what you’ve learned, the Rescue Diver course expands on what you already know about how to prevent problems and how to manage them if they occur. You will learn emergency management skills as well as how to assist panicked/unresponsive divers.

What's involved

This course consists of additional knowledge development and confined water dives where you will learn advanced rescue skills. You will then conduct several open water dives, each one having a different scenario where you will have to assess the situation and perform a rescue if required. The open water dives can be completed on one of our UK dive trips.

Prerequisites

You must be at least 15 years old
You must be a certified Advanced Open Water Diver
You must have first aid training (which we can provide)
